- how you doin out there? I go by the name criss.ruler or criss,da,ruler. I started to make beats in july 2007. So i'mma newbie by experience, but when it comes to my sound i'm some years advanced (honestly) and only because this is my truest passion. I mean i make beats everyday, i mean EVERYDAY. ask my friends, i love hip hop point blank. I'm not a Looper, I'mma chopper, i find looping beats very lazy (even tho i use to do it) but i chop my beats and recontruct them to perfection. Its a bitch when u run into another producer and both of you have the same loops. I strive for excellence and creativity, makin sure my beats sound totally or somewhat different from whatever. I'm into competition so if u feel like u wanna challenge me, lets get it! I'm from the city of the go and i have goals to be one of the top producer from the northside of chicago, and i'm showing MAD potential. also when it comes to my beats, i do soul, but i try to make music u can also dance to, sing to, drink too. when will the north side of chicago be recognized by hip hop?
I'm under the impression that when it comes down to the raw hip hop, chicago is really leading the race. But why only the south-side, west-side, and east side(which really aint even real side) gets so much exposure in hip hop. it's annoying, i grew up on the north-side and it's fucked up cuz we have lots of hip hop joints but there are no like pretty decent rappers in the game, all i wanna know is WHY? what is so bad about us?

Yeah but im glad u was diggin the trax fam. Age aint have shit to do with creativity and a bold set of cajones to pull it off with no regrets or look backs. U got a chance to get some placements with your catalogue. Just stay in your lane and make em follow u. Thats the best advice that was given to me, and im givin it to u.
