What is The Twitter-tape about?
This is about creative networking with others that are dedicated to their craft. This is a different platform to get your name to people that may not know about you. One issue in hip hop is many deserving artists, Dj's, producer's etc don't get the proper "shine" in many markets outside their own. If we band together and push each other then more worthy artists, Dj's, models, magazines etc will be more successful. That is the purpose of The Twitter-Tape. Go above and beyond the competition. Twitter is a free service that enables users to network, make money, and enjoy themselves. The idea for this mixtape is to give artists, models, radio shows, and everyone involved another place to network, make money, and for the people to enjoy. If we all band together to promote this mixtape then everyone who is involved will benefit. It's a win, win situation.
Why should I get involved?
DJ SMOKE has reached out to magazines, models, radio shows, Dj crews, and anyone who is willing to help make this a success for all. If you don't already know, twitter is one of the best networking tools on the internet right now. Many people re-tweet, and promote others on twitter with little to nothing to gain in return. The Twitter-Tape is a place for you to do the same thing but you have something to gain in return. Each e-blast, review, banner, each time someone sees this mixtape or a promo for it means more people that are listening. Which means more people see your logo, hear your song, sees your services. On the back end that will gain exposure for everyone involved. by doing what you normally do in this business.
How can I benefit from participating?
There is power in numbers, if we work together this should be a very successful project, and you will increase your own network as well as others. This network is not limited to one project, it is about cross promotion. You will get free advertisement on this mixtape, skits/drops, logo placement, banner placement, etc...
