- The road to becoming a "check writer" is a long, uncompromising one. The journey can be strenuous and unsympathetic, since the destination seems unobtainable to most. It takes an incontestable, unimpeachable type of individual to command this lane. Enter KEN D$L, described as "the-all-singing-all-dancing-king-of-the-heap." Blessed with a natural, diverse musical talent, a rock solid sense of direction and an instantly recognizable sound that is unparalleled. "I’ve studied this game from every angle. I went from DJ, to M.C., and now I’m one of the top producers in Chicago, I’ve worked under the best in the city including Flex, Andy C. and Kanye West. As an M.C., I helped in making a Hip Hop scene in Chicago early in the game. I’ve opened for B.I.G., Jay-Z, Lil’ Kim, Redman and Foxy Brown among others. I’m done with that, my destiny is behind the boards, behind the scenes. I’ma get in where I fit in and make my own lane." And make his own lane he has as a "Triple Threat" composer/songwriter/producer (hence, the skull and crossbones logo!). Track Dealas Inc., in it’s early stages, is already poised for prominence. With a client list as diverse as his musical style, including Harpo Sounds (Oprah!) among others, who’s going to stop him? "In the words of O.D.B.,"there ain’t no father to my style!"
